The Class of ’21 has it’s Dreams
After 13 years of schooling, the Chisum High School Class of 2021 will be graduating Friday evening, May 21. And what has the journey into adulthood taught them? Well, it depends on which student you ask. They all have aspirations, and while many plans will change as they continue to grow and adjust to the unknown opportunities and roadblocks on the road forward, one thing is sure. The Class of ’21 has it’s dreams.
CAYDEN DAY will be attending the USMA West Point Academy upon graduation. After serving our country Cayden plans to pursue a career in criminal justice. Thank you for your service Cayden and good luck!!
EVAN BRAZIEL will attend Baylor University upon graduation to pursue a career in medicine. Evan says that his time at CISD has prepared him for his future. He is especially thankful for the inspiration of his teacher Mr. Ryan Skidmore and his challenging classes.
JACOB JOHNSON will attend Oklahoma Baptist University upon graduation to pursue a major in Biology and ultimately become a physician. Jacob says that his time at CISD has helped him mature and prepared him for his future.
COLTON HALE will attend Paris Junior College or Grayson College for paramedic training then transition to the Sulphur Springs Fire Academy. Colton plans to put his skills to work as a Firefighter and Paramedic.
HUNTER DAWES will serve our country in the United States Army upon graduation as an Airborne Ranger.
EVAN ZANT will attend East Texas Baptist University upon graduation to pursue a degree as an educator. Evan says that his time at CISD has taught him how to meet deadlines.
VIRGIL SCALES will attend Paris Junior College upon graduation to pursue a career as a vet technician.
MERCEYDEZ ORTEGA will attend college upon graduation to pursue a career in Social Work
KACI WILLIAMS will attend Texas Tech University upon graduation to pursue a career as a Real Estate Attorney. Kaci says that Chisum ISD has prepared her to work under pressure and adapt to new situations.
LANNIE FARRIS will attend Texas A & M Commerce upon graduation to pursue a career in Agriculture Communications and Agriculture Business. Lannie said that her time at Chisum ISD has left her with a love for learning that she will carry with her always.
SARAH GLOVER will attend Paris Junior College upon graduation to pursue a degree in nursing. Sarah says that her time at CISD has helped her learn how to work with others. Congratulations Sarah and good luck!
JAMIE HAWKINS will attend college at UNT upon graduation to pursue a degree and career as a Criminal Defense Lawyer. Jaime says that her time at CISD has prepared her for her future and that she will always remember how supportive and caring her teachers have been.
HAYLIE BOYD will attend the University of Texas at Austin upon graduation to pursue a degree in theater and ultimately become a drama teacher. Haylie says that she is grateful for the experiences that she has had at CISD.
GRACE PRESTON will attend the University of Wisconsin - Madison upon graduation to major in Biology and ultimately pursue a career as a Marine Biologist. Grace says that her time at CISD has given her the foundation that she will need for success at college.
EMMANUEL MUNOZ-TOVAR will attend University of Texas at Arlington upon graduation to pursue a degree and ultimately put his skills to work as a Civil Engineer. Emmanuel says that he is especially thankful for his teachers for preparing him for the future. Emmanuel says that Mr. Tim Skidmore and Mr. Ryan Skidmore have inspired him to do his best.
MADISON LAWSON will attend PJC and Texas A & M Commerce upon graduation to pursue a degree in Animal Science. Madison says her time at CISD has inspired her to always try her best at everything she does.
JORDAN LEVERETT will attend the University of Texas at Arlington upon graduation to pursue a career as a Mechanical Engineer. Jordan says that his teachers have prepared him for his future.
TYLER HAYLEY will attend Texas A & M Commerce upon graduation to pursue a degree in Biology and ultimately put his skills to work as a BSN.
MADDISON DORNER will attend Paris Junior College then transfer to Texas A & M Commerce to pursue a career in interior design while obtaining her real estate license. Maddison says that CISD has a fantastic group of teachers and all of them have contributed to her success.
And, finally, CASE FOSTER sums up the experience of the entire CHS Class of 2021. Case says he is prepared for his future.
